Established Choir
Since 1882 Bath Choral Society has been a key part of Bath's busy and varied musical life. Today, our choir is around 120 voices strong. We are enthusiastic amateur singers, engaging professional soloists and orchestras for our concerts who help us perform to a standard that maintains our strong reputation.
The 2007/2008 season marks the 125th anniversary of the choir and we will be celebrating this occasion with four varied concert programmes and a number of non-musical events.
We hope to share some of our rich history and a book tracing the history of BCS and our long association with performances of Messiah in Bath is expected to be published this year.
