Established Choir
Since 1882 Bath Choral Society has been a key part of Bath's busy and varied musical life. Today, our choir is around 120 voices strong. We are enthusiastic amateur singers, engaging professional soloists and orchestras for our concerts who help us perform to a standard that maintains our strong reputation.
The 2007/2008 season marked the 125th anniversary of the choir and we celebrated this occasion with four varied concert programmes and a number of non-musical events.
We can share some of our rich history in a book tracing the history of BCS and our long association with performances of Messiah in Bath which was published in 2007.
