more copies of a 750-copy limited edition remain. ALL Proceeds to Dorothy House Hospice Care & Bath Cancer Research (RUH) Cheques to the total value of £2600 were presented to the above charities in October 2004. Proceeds from the remaining sales will also be donated.

BCS is hoping to raise approx £3000 in support of Dorothy House hospice and Bath Cancer Research from sales of its recording of Messiah made live on Dec 6th 2002. The double CD was produced last year in a limited edition of 750 copies.
BCS performs the Messiah every year in the Abbey and this recording marked 50 years of annual performances and also features the last time that David Mason (trumpet) played "the trumpet shall sound" with BCS before retiring after more than 40 years of concerts with them.
